
Yoga Program

The Yoga and Mindfulness Program is designed to be a continuous program focused on relapse prevention. For those clients open to discovering new ways to heal through traumas, gain more self control, and learn many coping skills, this program will help with the challenges faced during recovery.

Attendees will learn that yoga is much more than moving the body, although this is a key part. We will move slowly and at the pace of the group. Some classes will emphasize the many breathing techniques we can use to help access and settle our nervous systems; especially when under pressure, stress, or anxiety. Other classes will heavily emphasize the benefits of meditation, self awareness and sound healing therapy. Yoga is meant to be a holistic practice that brings us into, at the very least, our present awareness.
In understanding that healing looks different for everyone, some of these tools may resonate more with some, than others. A variety of topics will be introduced to clients through classes. In addition to traditional yogic practices, we will explore the use of crystals, Essential Oils, Intuitive Eating, Reiki Healing, Frequencies and Energy, Somatic Releasing, and Building Community.
